She got well after a short time of JUICE FASTING and, since I could barely walk, I thought I would try that.
I ordered the machine and started eating mostly raw vegetarian food. When it got here I went shopping for ORGANIC fruit and vegetables and started fasting on cabbage with celery juice, carrot juice, apple ginger lemon juice, cucumber juice with dill, pineapple with carrots and any other combination you can find the ORGANIC ingredients for. The machine works like charm, I make two batches of juice a day and a quick rinse in between cleans it up. Overnight I wash it in the dishwasher. The juice is free of pulp and the residue in the machine is very dry and scrapes out with a special little spatula into the compost bucket.
Today, after 6 days of fasting, I am pain free and can walk upright. I have also lost 19 pounds.

This juicer was a definite improvement. There is much less waste and it juices even soft fruit (raspberries, blackberries ect..) that the Breville just threw directly into the waste bin.
Pros:
Less waste
Better tasting juice
Less foam created
Able to juice citrus fruit without peeling it
Can make smoothies
Cons:
A bit harder to clean, there are more attachments so there is more to clean
The XL isn't available in the US yet so you need to cut things smaller which takes a bit more time
I find that both of the above cons are worth it. One other thing that I find and I didn't list as a Pro or a Con because depending upon your tastes it could be either. The juice that comes out of the Le Duo tends to be a thicker consistency than the Breville juice.
Huge disappointment, January 25, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Roland Magimix Le Duo Plus Juicer (Kitchen) I saw this juicer demonstrated on the Jamie Oliver show. I read the one review on Amazon which stated it cured a person's arthritis in one month of juicing. I bought the juicer based on the information provided by these two individuals. The juicer clogs after a brief output of juice which means having to dismantle the juicer, removing the clog, and reassembling the juicer. This is repeated three or four times for two glasses of juice. The hefty price tag, and the frustration of dealing with repeated clogging have made this a huge disappointment. I would have returned it, but I discarded the box before having used the machine. Big mistake. You can do better.
