I only have those huge juicebar types vs. the little shredder 99$ ones to compare it too, and it blows them both away. A juicebar type omega would be nice if I ... owned a juice bar. But I'm just juicing for two at the most and this little 8 hp baby does the trick. The automatic shut off is a great feature for someone who likes to burn appliances up trying to 'do frozen' because I'm impatient, but I've only managed to kill this one once, with too much frozen corn- I was making Thai fish cakes.
It does not shred to juice, it twists to squeeze out the precious fluid and the hopper lets you control how much 'pulp' aka fiber you want in your juice. I love the engine purr and the squeak of kale as it's pushed through, I just wish I had a black or red one! haha This is a good price for a well warranted product, a great design, easy to clean up (though I don't know about a minute flat or whatever), I usually just rinse the pieces as I take it apart before I... No other machine out there offers the same kind of warranty this one does. The cost was scary and I was skeptical this juicer could really be that good. Delivery was fast and machine was well packaged. Learning how to assemble this juicer and take it apart was a breeze. If I can do it, anybody can. What amazed me was how quiet this juicer was. Has an impressively built motor and the whole machine appears well made. If you take good care of this machine, should last many years. The smoothness and taste of the juice this machine makes, leaves me gushing. The best I've ever had. No foam! It's remarkable. No leaking or mess. I clean and chop my fruits and veggies, set up my machine, juice, disassemble and have everything washed in less than fifteen minutes. Now, every day I look forward to juicing and I feel better.

I am new to juicing and it was really important that this was easy to put together, use and clean. With only 5 parts to use, it is definitely that. I have been juicing at breakfast and usually take apart the juicer after using it. I then put the parts in a bowl filled with hot water and drink my juice while I get ready for work and lastly clean up everything a few minutes before I run out the door.
I really enjoy how great it tastes and how good I feel. I started juicing leafy greens with ginger, celery and carrots which I liked but I have just created a new recipe that I have fallen in love with using carrots, oranges, apple and beets. Very yummy!
Even though this has nothing to do with how the juicer works, I really like how it was available in white. A much better fit in my kitchen instead of ivory!
Since this is my first experience with a juicer I don't feel like I can't really comment on much... Read more
